Description
Consists of two Nailsworth stone panels, mounted on either side of the Norman arch. Lettering is accentuated in red and black for rank and name, respectively. Names are inscribed in order of rank and in four columns on each panel. Each stone panel is entitled with a selection of Regimental Battle Honours.

MONMOUTHSHIRE REGIMENT (T. F.)/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919./ North Panel: Somme – Arras – Lens – Canal Du Nord/ (Names in four columns)/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND TO THE UNDYING MEMORY OF THE/ OFFICERS, WARRANT OFFICERS, NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS,/ AND RIFLEMEN OF THE 1ST BATTN.
