Description

Inscribed plaque mounted in free standing thick wall with top corners cut at 45 degree angle under a wooden shelter. Main plaque with a brass on the top, with two brass plaques mounted on wall at either side of the inscription plaque. Also a top brass plaque.

Central plaque: ROYAL AIR FORCE CASTLE CAMPS/ DEDICATED TO ALL UNITS WHO SERVED AT THIS AIRFIELD/ 1940-1946/ THIS MEMORIAL WAS UNVEILED BY AIR VICE MARSHAL N.E.
