- Description
- Square base surmounted by rough hewn plinth and obelisk. On the front face of the memorial stands a figure of a helmeted soldier resting on arms reversed. Dedicatory inscription is placed below his feet and names of the dead are inscribed on the sides of the plinth. Stone posts and chain links surround the whole memorial which in turn stands on a large stepped base which forms a traffic island.
