- CAST BRONZE HALF RELIEF OF A DEAD SOLDIER LYING ON A BIER. AT HIS HEAD IS THE ANGEL OF PEACE, AT HIS FEET A KNEELING WOMAN REPRESENTING HUMANITY IS LOOKING BEHIND HER TO A NAKED CHILD REPRESENTING THE RISING GENERATION, AND POINTING TO THE NEW DAWN OF A BETTER WORLD THROUGH SACRIFICE. ON A MARBLE PATTRESS WITH SHELF ABOVE AND CURVED LOWER EDGE.
