Description
Stone of Remembrance, comprising a rough-hewn lump of granite whose front face has a polished nowy-headed section. At top centre of that section is a depiction of the Northumberland Constabulary crest, beneath which is the incised inscription; both the crest and the lettering are gold-painted. The stone now stands on a base of grey and black slabs, within the landscaped Northumbria Police Memorial Garden at Wallsend.
