Description
The Old Comrades Club closed, and the site has been redeveloped as sheltered housing. The Roll of Honour scroll was removed to the Council Offices for safekeeping. It is hand-written in glazed frame. The design is temple-like, with the dedication written in the apex of the triangular pediment, with a blue Maltese Cross at the very top, and with crossed Union flag and Red Ensign in the centre, below which is written the title. The dates of the conflict are written at the top of the supporting columns on each side, with the names written in calligraphy over seven columns in the centre. There is bright red outlining to the design.
