Description
WALL-MOUNTED PLAQUE. INCISED LETTERING. NOWY-HEADED. REGIMENTAL BADGE AT TOP CENTRE. The brass plate sits on a wood pattress which echoes its shape. There is a wide border pattern, which forms a rectangle separating the dome from the rest. The border contains a pattern of Tudor roses and leaves, with alternate flowers coloured red and white, raised in casting and the background enamelled black, with the design in half relief. The badge and the lettering are all sunk in casting and enamelled black, using Roman capitals throughout.
