Description
TWO BOOKS OF REMEMBRANCE KEPT WITHIN ORNATE WOODEN AND GLASS CASE. At the tops of the legs on the eight outer sides is carved the badge of the R.N.F. At centre top of the case is the regimental badge enamelled in full colour, with the dates "1914-1918" and "1939-1945" on either side. The dedication is on the back of the inside of the case. All lettering is raised on a sunken cartouche, in which the background is painted blue and the raised letters are gilded. The Books are bound in black leather, and bear the regimental badge (a grenade) embossed in gold on the front.
