- Description
- TWO-STEPPED BASE SURMOUNTED BY PLINTH, PEDESTAL, TAPERING SHAFT AND SQUARE CROSS. INCISED INSCRIPTION ON THREE SIDES OF THE PEDESTAL, PLINTH AND STEPS. The dedication is on the front of the main stone plinth, with names listed under the year on the sides and also carried on down the sides and front of the steps. The quotation is on the front of the bottom step. All lettering is incised using plain capitals for the names, but elaborate capitals for the dedication.

- 2001: PLANS TO GET THE MEMORIAL CLEANED AND REPAIRED. SOME OF THE NAMES HAVE BEEN ERODED AND PARISH COUNCIL ARE LOOKING TO REINSTATE THEM- the result was the 2013 transcript tablet
