Description
Monument made of sandstone blocks, to which another course of blocks has been added later. Flanking panels of sandstone curve in front to give a frontage which is paved with square red tile bricks, and has a wrought iron fence in front. On the main sandstone wall are 4 tall, narrow bronze plaques bearing WW1 names in a single column on each. On the upper course is another bronze plaque laid at right angle to the WW1 plaques bearing the WW2 names in three columns divided by a vertical line. All lettering is in raised elongated capitals.

History
2019: following the sale of the Memorial Hall, Belford Parish Council assumed ownership of the entire Grade 2 listed site and the responsibility for its upkeep Three Parish Councillors were appointed as "Trustees". 2005: Restoration, and four omitted names added, two for each war. The restoration cost c £4,000 of which £1,000 was a grant from the War Memorials Trust
