Serviceman with rifle in defensive pose standing over wounded comrade. On square plinth and two stepped base. The circular plaque lies in the memorial gardens.

THE STATUE-/ 'COURAGE' - WAS UNVEILED/ BY LORD DERBY ON/ 25 OCTOBER , 1924.
