Description
Internal part of memorial is oval marble tablet mounted on red stone mount. Red stone mount has pediment at top which surmounts two stone columns either side of central marble tablet. External tablet is of white stone with names in six columns. Internal memorial has relief of laurel garland surrounding names, above which is the arms of the City of Manchester. In centre of pediment is the regimental badge of a sphinx
