- THE CHURCH WAS DISUSED FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND IVY COVERED SOME OF IT. WHEN THE CHURCH CAME BACK INTO USE THE MEMORIAL WAS CLEANED BUT SOME OF THE NAMES HAD BECOME ILLEGIBLE DUE TO THE IVY
