- BRICK BASE SURMOUNTED BY STONE PLINTH AND TAPERING STONE OF REMEMBRANCE. INCISED INSCRIPTION ON THE 6 O'CLOCK FACE OF THE STONE AND PLINTH SQUADRON CREST CARVED IN RELIEF AT THE TOP OF THE STONE OF REMEMBRANCE. 300 TREES WERE PLANTED IN THE AREA AND THE LAND WAS ENCLOSED BY A FENCE The commemorative plaque with biographical details of the crew, is in the parish church.
