Description
PAVING AT THE EAST END OF THE CHAPEL WITH DEDICATORY TABLET. Tablet is set in the centre of the lowest step leading up to the altar. In the middle of the slab is carved, in relief, a sword with a laurel wreath superimposed on the blade.

THEIR NAMES, THAT THEY MAY BE SEEN BY ALL WHO ENTER THE COLLEGE, ARE INSCRIBED/ UNDER THE ARCHWAY OF THE GREAT QUADRANGLE./ HAVE THEM IN HONOUR HERE WHERE FOR MORE THAN SIX HUNDRED YEARS IT HAS BEEN THE CUSTOM DAILY TO COMMEMORATE BENEFACTORS/
