Description
Elevated three-stepped rectangular sectioned base surmounted by a rectangular sectioned column, elaborate stepped & pitched capstone topped with a small Latin cross. Raised decorative design within front face of capstone. Incised inscription lettering on three column faces, continuing onto two of the upper step faces. The elevated memorial is integrated at its rear, with a kerbed red-tiled platform area, reached by three steps to either side of the memorial base from pavement level. The platform is partially enclosed on three sides by bushes & a short section of iron railing fence. The two sets of steps are each flanked by a low stone wall. At the front of the memorial base, another low stone wall rises to the level of the upper face of the lowest step.
