Description
Octagonal sectioned tapering foundation work supporting a two-stepped octagonal base surmounted by a two-stage, square sectioned plinth with two arched side faces on the upper plinth stage. Rising from the plinth is a moulded lower-edged, square-footed octagonal sectioned tapering shaft, moulded octagonal boss and a terminal-armed cross. Parts of the base section originate from an earlier Village cross. The whole memorial stands within a gravelled area partially enclosed by a tall hedge, adjacent to the roadside.
