Condition
History
2019: Benches unfortunately damaged by vandals and general deterioration necessitating their removal. Due to their soft-wood construction it has been assessed that they are beyond repair and so Bristol Museums are currently investigating manufacture of replacements that they are planning will be of considerably more robust construction. The original brass plaques are safe in the Museum and will be reinstated when the replacement seats are installed.
