- Description
- Single-stepped rectangular base surmounted by a rectangular-sectioned tapering plinth and a rectangular-sectioned tapering shaft with integral wheel cross. Sword of Sacrifice in relief on front face of shaft. Inscription on base of shaft and front face of plinth. A linear flower holder, placed in front of base step, bears one WW2 name. Memorial components are all rough-hewn stone with smoothened areas for the inscriptions and names. Whole memorial stands within a raised concreted area, enclosed by a curved stone wall to the rear and six metal posts supporting a chain link fence to the roadside frontage.
