- Soldier wearing uniform and cap badge of Lincolnshire regiment with head bowed, in mourning pose with rifle reversed, surmounting rectangular pedestal. Cornice of pedestal decorated with carved frieze including depiction of cap and rifle. In the bottom of each face there is a carved laurel wreath.
