Description

Irregular shaped, rough-hewn stone with the front face smoothened to accept a pinned lead cross and inscription. The memorial stone is located within a small triangular road junction refuge.

Original memorial was constructed of wood and also listed names of the fallen but was replaced during the 1950's with the present stone structure.
