Stone porch with a dedicatory stone tablet set into the stonework. Dedication in incised black lettering. There is an acompanying bronze plaque with a shorter dedication, but the location of this is unknown.

THE RIFLE BRIGADE WHO/ WAS KILLED IN ACTION IN FRANCE/ 28TH MARCH 1918 AGED 38 YEARS/ "LORD LIFT THOU UP THE LIGHT/ OF THY COUNTENANCE UPON HIM"/ THE ABOVE WAS THE SON OF/ THE REV. W.T.
