Description
Magnificent four light stained glass window, decorated as below, with accompanying plaques bearing inscription and names. On plaques; text surmounted by Arms of Selby (Left) and Diocese of York (Right). Window very elaborately decorated. Lights depict: L to R: (Top) Sailors kneeling before an angel and (Bottom) Soldiers taking Communion on the battlefield; (Top) Three Kings (?) and (bottom) dying soldier lying at the feet of Christ crucified (Top) Clergy kneeling at an altar and (Bottom) another Battlefield Communion scene; (Bottom) Soldier standing at peace in poppy field
