Description
Restoration of the 13th Century 'Five Sisters Window', which is a five light stained glass window, completed. The window was re-leaded, cleaned and re-fixed throughout. Dedicatory inscription placed below the window. The names panels, which are also part of this overall scheme, is our reference 30649.

1916: The window was removed due to the threat of Zepplin raids. The memorial committee was charged with restoring and replacing the window in memory of women's sacrifices during the First World War.
