  • The memorial was given to the Museum in 1997 by Mr Alan Hully.
  • Keswick Reminder, 24 Sept. 1926: After ancillary costs were added to the £95 cost of the tablet total costs were £102/14. In 1926 the balanace of £25/17/3 was given to assist in laying out the Town Field for recreation-football, cricket, tennis and bowls with a stone placed there to recognise this donation. (Stone not located on visit)
