- Description
- Pentagonal shaped base surmounted by tall triangular pillar and a winged Figure of Victory. Additional figure of naked man breaking a sword over his knee placed at the foot of the pillar. Dedicatory inscription carved into the stone and names inscribed on plaques placed on the side of the base. Whole is enclosed by wrought iron rialings. On the front side of the railings is a bronze sword with the Yorkshire rose depicted on the hilt. An animals head in relief at the top of the blade nearest the hilt with a green coloured metal wreath hanging behind
