- FIVE LIGHT STAINED GLASS WINDOW WITH FIGURES DEPICTED IN EACH LIGHT. NAMES PLACED ON A TWO BRONZE PLAQUES AND DEDICATORY INSCRIPTION ON A STONE TABLET PLACED BELOW THE WINDOW. CENTRE SECTION OF THE LIGHTS IS FORMED BY TWO ROWS OF THREE LIGHTS ONE ABOVE THE OTHER. IN THE UPPER PART CHRIST IS DEPICTED IN THE MIDDLE LIGHT FLANKED BY ST MICHAEL AND ST GABRIEL. IN THE LOWER ROW ST GEORGE IS DEPICTED IN TE CENTRE LIGHT FLANKED BY ST OSWALD AND ST ALBAN. IN THE OUTER LEFT HAND LIGHT IS ST MARTIN WITH THE IMAGE OF HIM GIVING HIS CLOAK TO A BEGGAR DEPICTED AT THE BASE. IN THE OUTER RIGHT HAND LIGHT ST JOAN OF ARC IS DEPICTED WITH SCENE SHOWING HER GIVING AID TO WOUNDED SOLDIERS DEPICTED AT THE BASE OF THE LIGHT. WHOLE OF THE UPPER PORTION OF THE LIGHT DEPICTS HERALDIC DEVICES. THESE ARE THE ARMS OF ENGLAND, SCOTLAND, IRELAND, WALES, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, INDIA, NEW ZEALAND, NEWFOUNDLND, WEST AFRICA AND RHODESIA. ALONGSIDE THESE ARE THE ARMS OF THE ARCBISHOPRICC OF YORK AND THE DIOCESE OF RIPON ON ONE SIDE AND THE CREST OF THE ARCHDEACON OF CRAVEN AND THE DIOCESE OF BRADFORD ON THE OTHER.
