Description
A tall, square, classical monument set on a square, two stepped base and plinth. The front of the second stage of the base bears the inscription in bronze "THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE": above this, on the highest stage of the plinth, is a bronze sword of remembrance and the school coat-of-arms within a laurel wreath. To the left and rear of the sword are bronze plaques with the WW1 names (with a smaller plaque for two additional names at the base of the rear): the WW2 names are on the second stage to the left of the inscription. The upper stage has fluted Doric pilasters at each corner supporting an entablature and frieze. The monument is topped by a bronze sculpture of a bugler.
