- Plain cenotaph on three-stepped base. Wreath and Cross in relief on each face. Post 1945 Conflicts, Granite rectangle block with gold lettering.

- On original Cenotaph WHEN YOU GO HOME TELL THEM OF US/ AND SAY, "FOR YOUR TOMORROWS WE GAVE OUR TODAY"/ "AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE/ MORNING WE WILL REMEMBER THEM"/ THIS MONUMENT IS ERECTED TO PERPETUATE THE/ MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS CITY, WHO/ IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919 FOUGHT THE/ GOOD FIGHT, DYING IN THE CAUSE OF HUMANITY/ THAT HONOUR MIGHT LIVE/ THEIR NAMES ARE INSCRIBED ON THE ROLL OF/ HONOUR, WHICH IS DEPOSITED IN THE TOWN HALL/ THE MONUMENT ALSO PERPETUATES THE/ MEMORY OF THE MEN AND WOMEN OF THIS/ CITY WHO DIED IN THE WORLD WAR OF/ 1939 - 1945/ IN GLORY ETERNAL/ THEY BEING DEAD YET THEY LIVE On Post 1945 Conflicts Granite Block IN MEMORY OF THE SACRIFICE MADE BY MEN ANS WOMEN/OF THIS DISTRICT WHO DIED IN CONFLICTS/ AROUND THE WORLD SINCE 1945/THEIR NAMES ARE INSCRIBED ON THE ROLL OF HONOUR
