Condition
History
2011: Substantially rebuilt with a shorter cross and engraved inscription. Report received that new inscription has misquoted 'THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE' as 'THERE NAMES LIVETH' 1970s: The pillar was blown down in a gale and was subsequently replaced by a durable concrete post. The original parts are in St Thomas Church.
