THREE-STEPPED BASE SURMOUNTED BY PLINTH, PEDESTAL AND FIGURE OF A SERVICEMAN STANDING WITH ARMS REVERSED. INSCRIPTION ON THE SIDE OF THE PEDESTAL AND NAMES ON CAST BRONZE PANELS. ADDITIONAL METAL PLAQUE FOR WW2 ADDED TO THE 6 O'CLOCK FACE OF THE PLINTH. WHOLE STANDS ON A LOW GRASS MOUND WITH PAVED PATH LEADING TO IT
