- Description
- Rectangular Sicilian white marble (slab) tablet set within an alabaster frame. Whole is mounted on a grey/black slate backboard. Incised inscription in black painted lettering. Initial letters of the names of the 11 dead are painted red. There is a separate, framed collection of photographs of the 11 dead and a Roll of Honour that lists the 72 who served: the latter includes the dead and has italicised lettering within black and white, ornate border.
