- Description
- Wall Mounted White marble tablet with incised black lettering, on an alabaster backboard which has a triangular head, within which is a carved Portland stone laurel wreath. A gilt mosaic border surrounds the tablets, which were extended using similar materials to accommodate the WW2 casualties. Below the main memorial is a separate addendum tablet for two WW1 Merchant Navy men. Beneath the tablet there is a wooden shelf for tributes with a carved inscription across its front, and a brass plaque recording its donation on its top surface. Includes the communities of Ballafesson, Ballakillowey, Ballakilpheric, Bradda, Cregneish, Fistard, Level, Port Erin, Port St Mary and Surby
