Description
Rough hewn granite Celtic Cross on a square granite plinth laid upon a two step slate base within a railed enclosure in the Speaker's Garden of Rushen Castle. The WW1 names are on slate tablets mounted each side of a granite wall to the rear. The WW2 dedication and names have been added on a similar tablet to the rear of the cross. A WW1 Centenary memorial in the form of a pair of wooden benches and four small wooden plaques has been set in front of the memorial (WMR 99296).
