Description
Winged figure of Victory surmounting square-set stone column. Figure of WW1 officer and WW1 private soldier on either side of column. Tiered plinth bearing inscriptions on four-stepped base. Stone carving in front of column of regimental regalia; drum, horn, flag, bottle and cap. Regimental badge carved above

History
Memorial is listed grade ii by Sheffield MDC. Detailed survey of the monuments of Weston Park carried out by Sheffield council in November 2000. (copy in file) reveals some deterioration. Cleaned and regilded c2010. 2003: vandals had removed a couple of the large pavers at the base of the memorial. 2007: Cleaned with funds from Heritage Lottery
