Description
Column surmounting a square base. Inscription on the sides of the column. Memorial was originally a plaque, but this was moved from its original site and placed in the cemetery. Whole stands in an enclosed area with 36 flower vases, each with a single name.

The memorial is dedicated to 48 employees of the Nottingham Co-operative Society Limited who died in the enemy air raid, 8-9 May 1941. The two plaques were moved from the original site of the bakery and incorporated in a new memorial in Nottingham Southern Cemetery.
