THIS TABLET/ AND HOLY TABLE WERE GIVEN/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND TO/ HONOUR THE MEMORY OF THE/ MEN OF ST JOHN'S CHURCH AND/ ST ANDREW'S MISSION WHO GAVE/ THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY/ IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918 THIS TABLET IS PLACED IN THIS CHURCH/ AS A THANK OFFERING FOR/ THE SAFE RETURN OF THE SONS OF/ MR & MRS R.L.
