- Description
- Rectangular paper Roll of Honour within a glazed polished light brown wood frame with a brass insert . At left top the crossed standards of Britain and the Royal standard in natural colours , below these a faded image of the Church , then to the right of the Standards the words " Roll of Honour" which appear to be printed . Then framed by a simple border the names handwritten in four columns . Below the standards the main title " Parish of Symondsbury" and then heading each section of names are the titles of the three parishes - Symondsbury , Eyre and Broadoak . At the bottom of the fourth column are additional names for Eyre . Some names have a simple cross against them denoting those who died .
