- Description
- A light coloured wooden battlefield cross , set into a brick wall in the chapel , appearing to be considerably thinner than is typical and probably a memorial , not a grave marker . The ends of the cross member and the upright are shaped to a pronounced curve . The dedication is painted in black and extends over the upright and cross member . There is a gold coloured triangle above the cross member and a gold coloured symbol just above the date of death , the significance is unclear .
