Description
A BRONZE PLAQUE PLACED EITHER SIDE OF THE CORN EXCHANGE GATEWAY. BOTH PLAQUES ARE NOWY-HEADED WITH UPPER-CASE LETTERING IN LOW RELIEF. AN ADDITIONAL PLAQUE WAS ADDED AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH PLAQUE FOR WW2. THE TOWN COAT OF ARMS IS PLACED AT TOP CENTRE OF EACH PLAQUE.
