External marble tablet: since its relocation it is now mounted in wood case/stand with a small brass plaque above it. Incised lettering.

History

2020: Chapel sold to developers and so this memorial has been relocated to a site next to the Barkisland War Memorial -WM Ref. 2635 In the early 1990s, Hornshaw and Fowler reported that it was in the then derelict graveyard of the disused Chapel
