- DAIS, OAK CHAIR AND WOODEN PANELLING WITH INSCRIPTION PAINTED ONTO IT IN GOLD AND LETTERING. THE NAMES OF THE FALLEN ARE INSCRIBED ON BRASS PLAQUES SET ABOVE TWO OF THE FOUR LISTS OF NAMES. SIX CARVED SHIELDS AT THE TOP OF THE PANELLING WITH KNIGHTS HEAD AND PLUME OVER A CARVED SCROLL. FIVE CARVED LAUREL WREATHS ON THE FRIEZE. SHIELDS, LEFT TO RIGHT, HAVE CARVED LETTERING ON THEM: D.C.L.I; R.A.F.; BRITISH ARMY BADGE; ROYAL NAVY BADGE; R.G.A.; R.A.M.E.

- 1981: THE DAIS, OAK CHAIR AND LECTURN USED TO STAND IN FRONT OF THE SCREEN BUT THEY WERE REMOVED ALONG WITH THE TOP PART OF THE CARVED FRIEZE. THIS WAS DUE TO THE RE-BUILDING PROGRAMMES AT THE SCHOOL. CHAIR NOW STANDS OUTSIDE THE DEUPTY HEAD'S OFFICE. LECTURN IS STILL IN USE
