FOR RIGHT AND COUNTRY THIS PULPIT WAS PLACED HERE IN HONOURED REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE WHO FROM THIS PARISH GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE WAR 1914-1918/ (NAMES)/ AND IN GRATITUDE TO THEM AND ALL THOSE WHO SERVED AND RETURNED/ "THE GLORY OF GUED (SIC) DEEDS IS ETERNAL"/ AND REMEMBER THOSE WHO DIED IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR 1939-1945/ (NAMES)/ REST ETERNAL GRANT TO THEM OH LORD AND LET THY LIGHT PERPETUAL SHINE UPON THEM. MAY THEY REST IN PEACE AND RISE IN GLORY. AMEN. and below: "also remember those who died in the Second World War 1939-1945"
