- Description
- Serviceman surmounting circular stepped pedestal which itself surmounts a large, stone hexagonal plinth with four steps. This plinth bears plaques. Arms of West Riding of York and Halifax on name plaques, carved equipment on pedestal, relief frieze of cavalry and horse artillery around drum. Soldier is in tropical dress with binoculars and slung rifle.
