Description
UNUSUAL MEMORIAL CONSISTING OF TWELVE ROUGH HEWN GRANITE 'FINGERS', STANDING UPRIGHT IN A SLIGHTLY FANNED FORMATION, FIVE AT THE FRONT, FIVE AT THE REAR AND ONE AT EACH END. IT IS APPROACHED BY A RED BRICK PATH AND THREE SHALLOW STEPS AND IS FLANKED BY TWO FLOWER BEDS. SURROUNDING AREA PAVED WITH SEVERAL SMALL TREES. METAL PLAQUE ON WEST FACE PLYMOUTH COAT OF ARMS AND INSIGNIA OF US 5TH AND 7TH CORPS ABOVE INSCRIPTION
