Description
Rough-hewn granite cross surmounting tapering plinth stood on a square base, which bears the dedications beneath the West face. The names are leaded, and on polished panels. The WW1 names are on the West and East faces of the shaft, the WW1 Services names are on the West, North, and South faces of the plinth, and the WW2 civilian names are on the East face of the plinth. An additional smooth grey granite tablet has been installed on the ground in front of the dedications, bearing a blacked, incised inscription commemorating Centenary of the end of the Great War. The memorial stands within a hexagonal paved area with post and chain fencing surrounding it.
