COLONEL/ 2ND VOLUNTEER BATTALION/ (PRINCE ALBERT'S) SOMERSETSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY,/ WJO DIED FEBRUARY 28TH 1887,/ AGED 66 YEARS/ ALSO OF ANN BICKNELL HIS WIFE/ WHO DIED AT EASTDON, MAY 3RD 1874/ IN HER 37TH YEAR,/ AND OF THEIR ELDEST DAUGHTER SOPHIA ROSALIE,/ THE BELOVED WIFE OF WILLIAM CLAXTON PEPPE/ OF BIRDPORE, GORAKHPUR, N.W.P.
