Description
TAPERING GRANITE PLINTH SURMOUNTED BY ROUGH-HEWN LATIN CROSS. INSCRIPTIONS ON THREE SIDES OF THE PLINTH IN RAISED UPPER-CASE LETTERS. THE LETTERING WAS ORIGINALLY PAINTED WHITE, BUT REPAINTED BLACK SOMETIME BEFORE 2006.

Unknown, but the lettering in the plinth was repainted black sometime before 2006 (according to the Clerk of the Council), possibly when the fallen of WW2 or other wars were added.
