- Description
- Composite memorial featuring brass plaques affixed to cenotaph-like structure. Central plaque relating to WW1 flanked by two smaller plaques relating to WW2. In addition there is a plaque commemorating the centenary of the outbreak of WW1. the main (WW1) plaque features curved pediment, decorative columns and two corbels. Flanking plaques (WW2) are nowy headed. All plaques have raised lettering. Plaques are mounted on a stone rectangular structure composed of smooth brickwork. Structure has proportions of a cenotaph, with the top meeting in a sloped apex. Memorial is set upon two steps.
