Description
Bed with attached tablet. Tablet of plain bronze with white enamelled lettering. Organisers of appeal fund for the War Memorial Hospital wing decided that any location donating more than £500 could have a bed endowed with their name attached to it. Installed in 1924. The hospital was demolished in March 1988. Neither the beds nor the plaques are to be found in the present, replacement hospital. £767.4.0 was raised in the village.
